The recent hurricanes in the Caribbean and the United States and terrorist attacks on London’s transit system have prompted travelers to scrutinize trip-insurance policies, a subject of confusion since the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
Millions of American leisure travelers bought insurances – about 30 percent, an increase from the 10 percent record before according to the United States Travel Insurance Association, a Washington D.C. trade group.
With this, any hijacking that will occur in the future will not anymore worry the passengers most of them are now covered by it. Indeed, Americans have seen the benefits a travel insurance can give you.
