The “Free Look” Period
December 10th, 2009Posted in Primary Info
Most travel insurance include in their policy coverage something called a “free-look” period. This option allows the consumer a certain period of time in which he/she can return the policy and refund. The travelers may purchase a plan of their choice and they will be given a certain time to read through the policy until they finally decide to get the insurance. The number of days of a “free-look” period is between 10-15 days. So if you purchase the policy, and for whatever reason returned it not later than 15 days, you are eligible to refund the premium. An administration fee may be charged but it is just minimal and will still be worth it.
