Medical policies are different with every travel insurance providers. Reading the fine prints will be for your own benefit. Some policy do not include in the coverage pre-existing conditions. The amount of the coverage provided by some policies will depend on the age of the insured. Medical coverage may or may not include care coordination, doctors’ fees, and hospital expenses. Travelers, especially those who travel to remote areas, those who have chronic illnesses, and even those who are pregnant are advised to check their medical needs overseas. The fine prints will then be your guide as to what are the benefits you will be getting from your travel insurance.
