The bulk of travelers are found during the holidays. This is the time of the year where more people have less hectic schedules that allow them to relax and enjoy a trip. Without travel insurance or adequate coverage, they are actually putting themselves at risk.
There are changing regulatory environment for the selling and regulation of travel insurance coverage. There are concerns regarding exclusions more specifically pre-existing conditions and terrorist attacks. There are certain nationalities that are more prone to terrorist attacks than others are so regulations have to be made to provide coverage for these nationalities. For example, about 10 million British national travelers will not be covered by insurance in case of terrorist attacks.
